• Provide high-quality medical consultation, diagnosis and treatment for newborns, infants, children and adolescents.
• Manage common childhood illnesses, infections, nutritional deficiencies and developmental concerns.
• Provide outpatient (OPD), inpatient (IPD) and emergency paediatric services as required.
• Assess and stabilise critically ill children and arrange referrals to specialised healthcare facilities when necessary.
• Monitor children's growth, development, nutritional status and immunisation needs.
• Provide guidance and counselling to parents regarding child health, nutrition, hygiene and preventive healthcare.
• Maintain accurate patient records, prescriptions and clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with other doctors, nurses and healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective patient care.
• Follow hospital clinical protocols, infection prevention procedures and patient safety standards.

Essential Qualifications

• MBBS degree from a recognised medical institution.
• Valid registration with the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC).
• Postgraduate qualification or recognised training in Paediatrics, preferably DCH, MCPS, FCPS or MD in Paediatrics.

Experience

• Preference will be given to candidates with at least 2–3 years of relevant clinical experience in Paediatrics.
• Previous experience working in a hospital or specialist paediatric department is desirable.
• Candidates with strong clinical skills and relevant specialist training are encouraged to apply.

• Strong knowledge of paediatric diagnosis, treatment and emergency management.
• Excellent communication skills, particularly when dealing with children and their parents.
• Compassionate, patient-focused and professional approach to medical care.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary medical team.
• Strong commitment to medical ethics, patient confidentiality and clinical safety.
• Willingness to participate in hospital duty rosters and emergency cover as required.
